In 2004, Softype evolved its focus. Drawing on Dr. Khilnani's expertise in business processes (Ph.D. in Engineering Economic Systems), the company shifted to providing comprehensive business consulting. Ms. Luz led the implementation efforts, delivering tailored solutions to drive client success.
While addressing client inventory needs, the founders discovered NetLedger, an emerging Silicon Valley firm that later became NetSuite, the pioneering cloud ERP system. Softype became an early NetSuite solution provider, deploying the platform to manage inventory for its first client under the new model. By recommending process optimizations, Softype helped that client reverse financial losses and regain stability, sparking growth through referrals and partnerships.
